My Younger Days

 

In my 20s and 30s, I used to:

Hitting my 40s: The Start of the Struggle

 

In the blink of an eye:

😩My once thin and fit body started to gain weight in all the wrong places.

😩My youthful, fast metabolism seemed to come to a screeching halt.

😩My overall health was declining rapidly, and my energy levels were plummeting.

Despite going to bed earlier, I woke up feeling exhausted. Some nights, I slept for 12 hours, yet I still felt tired! It was exhausted and frustrated.

 

 

The Breaking Point

 

My husband surprised me with a trip to a Hawaii for our 40th anniversary.🌴

On our first night, I stepped on a shiny digital scale in the bathroom. The number 209 flashed back at me.

I was devastated.

I looked in the bathroom mirror and felt ashamed. I was tired, bloated, and “chunky.”

What happened to me? How did I let myself get like this?
